Families visited Tang-style Buddhist temples and Indigenous villages, traveled by train and metro, and practiced real-life Mandarin conversations—immersing themselves in the rich local life and diverse cultures of Taiwan.

Cross-Cultural Family Learning × A Big Leap in Mandarin Skills
A junior high school girl from Australia also made amazing progress. At first, she needed camp counselor support whenever she went shopping. But as the camp went on and cultural experiences deepened, she gained the courage to make purchases in Mandarin on her own. At the end of the trip, she shared that she plans to keep learning Mandarin and sees it as a long-term goal!
一位來自澳洲的國中女孩，一開始購物時總需要老師陪同與協助，隨著課程與文化互動的深入，她逐漸累積勇氣，可以獨立用中文結帳。旅程結束時，她跟隊輔分享會持續學好中文，將中文學習視為長期目標!!!
An American family consisting of two moms and their two sons, aged 9 and 12—came with a foundation in Chinese from classes back home. At first, the boys were hesitant to speak. But by the end of the program, they were confidently chatting with camp counselors, and even greeting shopkeepers and passersby in Chinese. The progress they made was both remarkable and heartwarming.
一組美國家庭，由兩位媽媽與一位九歲跟一位十二歲的男孩組成，男孩們在美國本來就有在上中文課程，從一開始不敢開口說中文，到最後能主動與隊輔交流，還有跟店員和路人進行簡單對話，展現了明顯的進步與自信!!!
