Teacher’s Learning Summary for Students – Theme 4 of Term 6
After the completion of Theme 4 in Term 6, teachers shared the following observations: Students in the Coral Class learned about Messi’s passion for soccer, showing remarkable improvement in sentence-making and natural engagement in class. In the Little Coral Class, although the two students were not particularly fond of the main character, they still actively asked questions when encountering unfamiliar vocabulary. As they were taking soccer lessons themselves, their interest in the topic grew, and their accuracy in spelling and pronunciation also improved.
A student in the Anemone Class showed great enthusiasm for learning by taking initiative to ask about details in the text. In the Little Fish Class, Amber and Lucas made noticeable progress in class participation and language expression — their Chinese conversations became increasingly fluent. In the Universe Class, student actively asked questions, expanded his vocabulary through the text, and began creating more complete sentences.
In the Pearl Class, the student started sharing personal stories in Chinese and became more focused in class, putting great effort into reading practice. The student in the Planet Class took thorough notes and grew more capable of expressing themselves and understanding questions in Chinese. In the Little Tree Class, both siblings showed courage and progress in reviewing and answering questions. Students in the Pinecone Class actively asked questions, read clearly, and eagerly responded to the teacher.
Finally, the student in the Meteor Class continued to demonstrate a high level of language ability, offering insightful suggestions to improve short compositions, with both comprehension and expression skills that impressed the teacher. These highlights are a true testament to the students’ effort and growth.
